Pixels will hit theaters May 17, 2013

We reported last November that Tim Herlihy will write the Pixels screenplay for Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions.To make room for Pixels, Sony has shifted Singularity from its May 17, 2013 release date to November 1, 2013. We reported earlier this month that pre-production was shut down on Singularity, so director Roland Emmerich and writer Harald Kloser could perfect the screenplay. They also brought on scientific expert Raymond Kurzweil to consult with the script on.
As of now, both Pixels and Singularity have their respective release dates to themselves.
Pixels comes to theaters May 17th, 2013 and stars Adam Sandler.
Singularity comes to theaters November 1st, 2013. The film is directed by Roland Emmerich.
