Fans will be the first to get an exclusive look at the brand-new trailer for Walt Disney Pictures Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 3D on December 13, 2010, at AMC Downtown Disney Theatre 12 in Anaheim, California, as part of an exclusive "Pirates Fans First!" event. "Fans First!" winners will also have the chance on that day to be the first to experience the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction that started it all.
Fans can enter to win a vacation for four to the event by "Liking" Yahoo! Movies on Facebook (
) or entering the sweepstakes via Disney Movie Rewards (). Fans can also gain access to this exclusive event by entering the Movieweb contest listed above, or by listening to 102.7 KIIS-FM starting December 6th,.In addition to being the first to see the new trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," and ride on the Pirates of the Caribbean theme park attraction, the lucky fans will be treated to a special Pirate after party, plus special commemorative gifts-but not until all of them have sworn to the "Pirate's Oath" in a ceremony on the bow of the Columbia sailing ship. For added fun, fans who come to the event in pirate costume will have additional opportunities to win special prizing.
Following the "Pirates Fans First!" event, the trailer will premiere on Yahoo! Movies, Disney.com, and other premium online destinations around the world at 1 p.m. PST. Later the same day at 7 p.m. EST the domestic broadcast debut will occur on "Entertainment Tonight" as part of their December Event for "Pirates."
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" captures the fun, adventure and humor that ignited the hit franchise-this time in Disney Digital 3D™. Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise. When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penélope Cruz), he's not sure if it's love-or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
The international cast includes franchise vets Geoffrey Rush as the vengeful Captain Hector Barbossa, and Kevin R. McNally as Captain Jack's longtime comrade Joshamee Gibbs, plus Sam Claflin as a stalwart missionary and Astrid Berges-Frisbey as a mysterious mermaid.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is written by "Pirates" veterans Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio. The executive producers are Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, Barry H. Waldman, Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio and John DeLuca.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released May 20th, 2011 and stars Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Kevin McNally, Sam Claflin, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Rob Marshall.

Had so much fun today...went to the premeir of the pirates 4 trailer trailer and the pirate party for the trailer at Disneyland today. I was so awsome... we were the very first to see it before it was online. Got there at 5:15 am and just came home now at 10:30pm.

somewhere by the movie theaters in downtown disney.....i gave my extra tickets to people on the boards and twitter... share the treasure that's what christmas is all about. I had people contact me willing to pay but i said NO i rather pay it foward and spread holiday cheer!!!!

i am so excited i won the tickets pair of tickets and so did my fiancee snodid7 won a pair too now we can both take a friend and have a pirates party of our own thank you for making our christmas alittle more special my fiancee is so excited this will deff help with his disabilities he was really excited when i told him we both won. @POTC4TFOY2011 thanks! :D i showed him the teaser trailer, or at least the one they showed at comic-con, when it was released online and he has been asking me to show him it to him everyday i work since. i let him know about the trailer coming up this monday the 13th and he had me mark it down on the calendar, so one of the other employees i work with will show it to him since i won't be working that day. of course if we win, then that won't be necessary ;D

If I win I will be taking my fiancee he has disabilities and was adopted at birth. He is very excited about this contest. Not much will get him up so bright and early but every day he ask me did we win did we win. I like not yet but lets keep our finger crossed. Looking at him you would think he was normal but he has alot of meltal disabilities. Sometime I think he was born with a pirates curse. Maybe winning this here contest would finnaly break his curse.

These prizes must me mine because I work at a group home for developmentally disabled folks, and one of my clients loves, absolutely LOVES pirates of the caribbean! he would be ecstatic to be able to go and be among his pirates mates and see his friend jack sparrow on the big screen! Please give us this chance to come walk the plank and be the scalawags that we are!
