Yes, you're right, and i'll try to remember from now to use the "@" button more often, but if i don't use it much from now on, then that's either because i didn't remember about it, or because i forget how to use it. Yes, i know Disney would never have nudity in a film. If you think there will be absolutely be a R rated Disney film some day, then how until then do you think that will happen ?

    Read this very carefully.

    1. The tag button is important because if I was to put @sean Movieweb wouldn't actually notify you. Why? Because sean isn't your username, @themoviefanatic is. Sean is your display name. Josh, like you, has a different display name than username. So when you put @josh Movieweb doesn't notify him; therefore, the only way he can find out that you directed a comment at him is if he somehow by chance comes back to this article and sees that you told him something.

    2. Disney, at this point, would never have nudity in a film. I agree with you on this, and I have about ten times in this conversation already. I think you've just been reading me wrong.

    3. Consider this: Disney, ten years ago, would never have had a PG13 movie.

    4. The only thing I'm trying to say, and have been trying to say, is that things change, and so does Disney.

    5. Consider this: before this point, Disney would never have had a poster like this.

    6. Why do they have a poster like this? So that young teenage boys will take an interest in the movie.

    7. Like I've said three times, I do not in any way believe there will be nudity in this movie.

    8. I do however believe that unless the marketing for everything in this world changes for the better (not just Disney but everything, and I really hope it does) Disney will eventually have an R rated picture. Why? Because Disney loves money, and the most common way to market now is through objectifying both females and males.

Does this make any sense? I'm not a perve, I promise. I'm only stating what this world will eventually come to unless a lot of people get their acts straight.

Why would Disney, of all the movie studios, have topless actresses in their movies ? I have never seen that happen. Have you seen that happen with Disney movies ?

Why is the "tag" button so important ? It can be done either way ! Does it really make all that much of a difference ?

@themoviefanatic i guarantee you that if those mermaids weren't topless they wouldn't get a poster, and i agree they wont show anything, not in this film. Im just saying that their marketing has changed, this poster is so that all those immature teenage boys will go in the hopes of seeing 'boobies'

Really? People still think Disney as a company puts hidden messages in their films to target chidren? Anything you think you've seen/heard is either a cognitive misinterpretation (Aladdin, "Take of your clothes"), a single or small group of employees f*cking around a la Tyler Durden (The Rescuers topless woman), an oversight (the Little Mermaid penis tower, though that could also be the former), or harmless self-promotion (The Lion King message actually says SFX, and was inserted by the effects department during animation).

Not only would Disney Co have nothing to gain by showing children "dirty" images, but it's a well-known fact that research has shown the subliminal messaging doesn't even have an effect.

ABC is a tv channel and that's more for Adults then anyone younger then that. As for Disney, they are more for the Younger viewers, then they are for adults. They, meaning Disney, would not ever put any nudity their movies, and having nudity in their movies has not happened yet, and i highly doubt it will happen with Pirates 4. As for the desperate housewives show, that is likely shown on ABC when no younger viewrs would be able to watch it.

@themoviefanatic because they are clearly advertising this to young teenage boys in a sexual fashion, and in case you didn't know, disney owns ABC which is responsible for desperate housewives
