Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to Air on Starz May 19
Come aboard Starz this May as it sets sail for a grand voyage with Pirates of the Caribbean. The high seas adventure begins when Starz presents the Starz Saturday Premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on Saturday, May 19 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). The journey continues with two exclusive sneak peeks at the third installment of Walt Disney Pictures' epic pirate tale, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, a film that will reveal all of the series' unsolved mysteries.
The exclusive sneak peeks include "On the Set: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," a behind-the-scenes look at the film, which premieres on Starz Friday, May 11 at 1:35 p.m. (ET/PT); and the 30-minute Starz special "A Journey Behind the Scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" which premieres only on Starz Saturday, May 26 at 6:35 p.m. (ET/PT).
"Starz is proud to present the television premiere of the record-breaking smash hit Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, one of many blockbusters coming to the channel this summer," said Jonathan Shair, vice president of planning and scheduling, Starz Entertainment. "In addition, we were happy to partner with Walt Disney Pictures to present a sneak peek at Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End before the film is in theaters."
In the follow-up to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, we find our heroes Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) allied with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from his mind-bending trap in Davy Jones' locker - while the terrifying ghost ship, the Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, under the control of the East India Trading Company, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas. Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Now headed beyond the very ends of the earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle - as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving Pirate way, hangs in the balance. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Gore Verbinski, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End sails into theaters on Friday, May 25.
