According to his official website, Pierce Brosnan is going into the jungle first before stepping into Thomas Crown's shoes again.

Brosnan stated on his site that, "The Thomas Crown Affair 2 is in full swing with various location scouts completed in Dubai, Berlin, and Istanbul. Paul Verhoeven is set to direct."

He then added that, before the Crown sequel, he was heading off to do a family film entitled Vanilla Gorilla.

"Before I set sail with the second installment of TC2..... I'm off to South Africa to make "Vanilla Gorilla," an adventure film about an albino gorilla that has the capacity to speak through sign language. It's the story of a father and daughter who find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime, as they try to restructure their relationship after the loss of their mother/wife."

Brosnan added that production will begin in February, with Terry Loane (Mickybo and Me, which Brosnan called "fantastic" on the site) directing from a Craig Gardner script.

Vanilla Gorilla was released in 2011 and stars Pierce Brosnan, Dennis Haysbert, Arnold Vosloo, Madeline Carroll, Joe Vaz, Peter Elliott. The film is directed by Brian Levant.
