Phedon Papamichael is set to direct From Within, an independently financed thriller that will star Thomas Dekker (Heroes), Elizabeth Rice, Adam Goldberg and Jake Weber, according to Variety.

Brad Keene (The Gravedancers) wrote the script and production begins next month in Maryland.

Set in a small, God-fearing town, story focuses on a young girl caught between her Christian upbringing and a desire to experience the outside world. Her desire to break free is amplified when residents begin to die suspiciously.

Papamichael was the cinematographer of Walk the Line and The Pursuit of Happyness.
