In a story from VarietyFifty Dead Men Walking has been picked up by Phase 4 Films.

The film was directed by Kari Skogland and will be released August. 21.

The film stars Jim Sturgess (21) and Ben Kingsley and is inspired by Martin McGartland and his work as a spy against the IRA. One day he is exposed, captured and tortured to within an inch of his life. He escaped dramatically by throwing himself from a tower block window and is still in hiding today.

Fifty Dead Men Walking was released August 21st, 2009 and stars Ben Kingsley, Jim Sturgess, Kevin Zegers, Natalie Press, Rose McGowan, Tom Collins, William Houston, Michael McElhatton. The film is directed by Kari Skogland.
