The cast of a new American comedy has just received some British flavor. According to Variety, Peter Serafinowicz has joined the cast of Couples Retreat. The actor joins the already-attached stars Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau and Jason Bateman.

The film revolves around a couple on the rocks, whose friends convince them to attend a Couples Retreat. Serafinowicz will play the British owner of the resort they retreat to.

Peter Billingsley is directing and this is Serafinowicz's biggest feature role to date. His BBC series, The Peter Serafinowicz Show has recently earned him the Golden Rose for entertainer of the year.

Filming has commenced recently in Bora Bora.

Couples Retreat was released October 9th, 2009 and stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, Kali Hawk. The film is directed by Peter Billingsley.
