MGM has acquired Ken Kaufman and David Agosto's action-comedy pitch tentatively titled Wardogs, and has attached Get Smart helmer Peter Segal to direct.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but co-producer Andrew Lazar said that "it's an action ensemble comedy in the vein of Ocean's Eleven, where the casting becomes an event."

No production date has been set.
