'Peter Dinklage' Will Play a Leprechaun in an Upcoming Paramount Comedy

'Bad Words' scribe Andrew Dodge will write the screenplay. The tone is said to be similar to 'Bad Santa'.

Peter Dinklage is set to headline a currently untitled comedy at Paramount. Andrew Dodge, who wrote Jason Bateman's upcoming comedy Bad Words, will be penning the script.

Plot details are being held under wraps, but we do know that Peter Dinklage will play a character claiming to be a leprechaun. The tone will be similar to Terry Zwigoff's dark comedy Bad Santa, and it will have an R-rating. No other cast members have been announced.

Peter Dinklage is best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister on HBO hit fantasy series Game of Thrones and had a role in Neil LaBute's Death at a Funeral. He will next be portraying Bolivar Trask in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Cale Boyter and Mary Parent will be producing. No production details have been released.
