Paula Patton eyes 2 Guns
The movie is based on the Steven Grant graphic novel of the same name. The film will be directed by Baltasar Kormákur, who last worked with Mark Wahlberg on the action thriller Contraband.
TV writer Blake Masters is behind the screenplay on this one. Paula Patton will be playing the love interest of Denzel Washington's character in this story of a DEA Agent and a Naval Officer ordered to investigate each other.
Shooting will begin later in the year, after Mark Wahlberg completes the currently in-production comedic thriller Pain and Gain, about two air-headed bodybuilders who get swept up in an extortion ring.
2 Guns comes to theaters August 2nd, 2013 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, James Marsden, Paula Patton, Bill Paxton, Edward James Olmos, Robert John Burke, Fred Ward. The film is directed by Baltasar Kormákur.
