Paul Rudd to Star in New Judd Apatow Produced Comedy

MTV recently caught up with prolific comedy director and producer Judd Apatow to chat about Paramount's decision not to move forward on an Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy sequel. During their interview, it was revealed that Apatow was currently working on a new Untitled Paul Rudd/Judd Apatow Project, which will star Paul Rudd as well as reunite him with Role Models writers Ken Marino and David Wain, who are collaborating on the script.

The comedy will begin shooting this fall. At this time, there are no plot details being revealed, but an announcement is expected soon. It is very likely that David Wain will also direct the feature as well as write it. No other casting information has been made available at this time.

Wanderlust comes to theaters February 24th, 2012 and stars Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Paul Rudd, Malin Akerman, Kathryn Hahn, Ray Liotta, Melissa Joan Hart, Lauren Ambrose. The film is directed by David Wain.
