Patton Oswalt joins Beach lane on NBC
Oswalt will co-star in the pilot as James, a slacker who lives off his inheritance who takes on the job of turning a small Hamptons newspaper around, and does so by hiring a seasoned journalist, played by Matthew Broderick. Kristen Johnston will also star in the pilot as well.
Paul Simms (Bored to Death, The Larry Sanders Show) created the pilot, which will be produced by Lorne Michaels and Marci Klein.
