Patton Oswalt seems to have left Beach Lane
Sources told the site that Oswalt would no longer star after a table read on Tuesday. It was also said that the producers have offered him a different role in the show, but it wasn't known if Oswalt was staying on.
Oswalt would've starred alongside Matthew Broderick and Kristen Johnston in the pilot. He would've played a slacker who takes over a two-bit newspaper who hires Broderick's character, a well-respected journalist, to bring some credibility to the paper.
