Patrick Lussier to Direct My Bloody Valentine

Lionsgate has found a director for its upcoming horror remake My Bloody Valentine. Bloody Disgusting tracked down the exclusive news that Patrick Lussier will be jumping behind the camera on this one.

The story is set to take place in the sleepy town of Harmony, Montana. There, a series of grisly murders took place on Valentine's night. Now, ten years later, the killer is back and looking for some more bodies to slice up.

The film will start shooting in late March of this year in Pittsburgh, Pa.

My Bloody Valentine 3D was released January 16th, 2009 and stars Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Betsy Rue, Edi Gathegi, Tom Atkins, Kevin Tighe, Megan Boone. The film is directed by Patrick Lussier.

    Great another childhood Horror Classic down the drain!! & in the "Original" "My Bloody Valentine" the town was called "Valentine Bluffs" more appropriate than "Harmony"..LOL...
