Mark Wahlberg wants to reprise his role in the Four Brothers sequel
Mark Wahlberg wants to reprise his starring role. He even sparked the sequel idea with original writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura is returning to produce.
The original Four Brothers was directed by John Singleton. It centered on four adopted brothers (Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund) who joined forces to avenge their mother's death. That film brought in $74 million at the domestic boxoffice.
Currently there is no word on what the plot for this film will be, or which actors are going to return. Hedlund's character was killed off in the first movie.
Four Brothers was released August 12th, 2005 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin, Garrett Hedlund, Terrence Howard, Josh Charles, Sofía Vergara, Fionnula Flanagan. The film is directed by John Singleton.

i only saw some of the original and i didn't care for it.
i kind of loathe john singleton though, thats probably why, so it wasn't necessarily cuz the movie wasn't watchable.

This was a good movie. Reminds me of myself and my brothers...minus the killing. I'd like to see where they work out all the details because their 'vigilante'-like acts...It seemed like a one time thing.
