Paramount Picks Up a Case of the Jitters

It seems appropriate that Paramount would pick up an aptly-titled film on Halloween. According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has purchased the spec script Jitters.

Marc Haimes wrote the script and BenderSpink has been attached to produce the film. The story, said to be in the vein of Gremlins, centers on a hard-luck, dysfunctional family who moves into a new neighborhood, which becomes ravaged by superbugs.

No production schedule was released for the film.

how is this concept supposed to be in the vein of gremlins, someone just wants to throw out classic movie names to justify his crappy movie plot lol
