Paradox Entertainment Will Reboot Kull the Conqueror

In a story from Fantasy.fr, Paradox Entertainment is presently working on a reboot of the 1997 film Kull The Conqueror.

Kull The Conqueror was helmed by John Nicolella and Kevin Sorbo played the title role.

Kull first appeared in Weird Tales magazine in 1929 from creator Robert Ervin Howard. Howard also used Kull as a template for when he created the character of Conan.

A native of Atlantis, Kull came of age with his family in Tiger Valley until a flood wiped out his clan out. He is brought up by another clan, "but he stands up for a woman destined to burn alive and ends up banned from Atlantis. He sails for the continent and take up the mercenary way. He'll become king, just as Conan will do thousands of years later. Under his influence, Valusia ends up as the most powerful kingdom of the time."

Kull The Conqueror was released August 29th, 1997 and stars Kevin Sorbo, Tia Carrere, Thomas Ian Griffith, Litefoot, Roy Brocksmith, Harvey Fierstein, Karina Lombard, Edward Tudor-Pole. The film is directed by John Nicolella.
