Actor John Francis Daley (Freaks and Geeks) and Jonathan Goldstein are tackling the rewrite for the New Line/Benderspink comedy Burt Dickenson, Most Powerful Magician on the Planet Earth.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chad Kultgen's original screenplay follows a big-time Las Vegas illusionist whose preeminence is threatened by a younger "extreme magician."

The pair sold their comedic spec script The $40,000 Man to New Line and Benderspink last year.
