Warner Bros. has finally unleashed the first trailer for Pacific Rim, the highly-anticipated action-thriller from director Guillermo del Toro. If you're a fan of sci-fi action and incredible monsters, consider this an early Christmas present. Check out the first footage from this upcoming summer thrill ride.

    @Lynchian yes but since its del toro i was expecting more visual shots that would make me think wow but my anticipation for this is at the same level from before i even watched the trailer thats why i said ill wait for the second trailer hopefully with more daytime shots, that being said its still a must watch

    Whoah, what were you expecting then?

    I am an avid Del Toro fan, but to see him give a blockbuster punch fest a mythological niche and a rare tenacity is almost making me drool, instead of an unambiguous feature that has the same gilded plot holes and linear as Battleship, or Transformers, here is something pretty much be verified and rarefied.

    @George-Memo - wer the hell did u see the monsters using kung fu movements??!! (the jaeger's are controlled by humans and they show off before taking down one of the bastards!!),.. C'mon when a huge robot is taking on a huge beast and live TV coverage, millions watching, knowing whos riding the robot?! if it wer me i would even show off a bit - maybe a kung ku step in the start and flip the bird when i finish him!! its not another lame transformers movie - Del Toro is not and never will become the dumbass Michael Bay...
