Pacific Rim Photos with Charlie Day

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans are getting their first look at Charlie Day in the upcoming sci-fi epic Pacific Rim with four new photos courtesy of Empire Magazine. Charlie, who plays a (somewhat) mad scientist, is seen alongside stars Idris Elba and Charlie Hunnam on the set, where director Guillermo del Toro is busy putting them through their paces.

Pacific Rim comes to theaters July 12th, 2013 and stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Diego Klattenhoff, Burn Gorman, Robert Kazinsky. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro.

    @cheetoboy, I wouldn't exactly say "original". Not that I'm not going to love the Hell out of this or anything, but it reminds me of Robot Jox or Voltron.

    I like Ron Pearlman and all, but him being in this just adds a little bit of a "B" feeling to it.

    I just hope we see some giant monster gore, with limbs getting ripped off and not just some stupid punch and explode stuff. I'd like to see lasers or saw cut the monster in half, like the guy from Thirteen Ghosts.

    Yep this is definitely my most highly anticipated original film coming out in 2013(Most of the other big movies coming out next year are sequels), but When are we going to get some photos of the giant Monsters and Robots.
