Pacific Rim Monster Roars Scare the World in New Viral Video?
Either that, or its neither of the above (it should be noted that Pacific Rim and Godzilla are both coming from Legendary Pictures). Its too early for a Cloverfield 2 viral, and the creepy thing about this video is that these same noises were actually heard here in Alhambra, a suburb of Los Angeles, at the same time these noise were captures on film, last week. It certainly scared the dogs, but I didn't think too much of it, passing the roars off as loud machinery passing by outside my window.
The end of Kevin Smith's Red State should also be noted here, as the climax of that film finds the villainous church group being defeated by an old firehouse loud speaker hooked to an iPod. This could just be a video prophesizing the oncoming apocalypse. Whatever it is, you should check it out below. Then tell us what you think it might be. Godzilla? Giant Pacific Rim monsters? The rapture? Mass Effect 3 Reapers? Weather Weapons created by our Government? Did you hear these noises where you live?
Godzilla comes to theaters in 2014. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.
Pacific Rim comes to theaters July 12th, 2013 and stars Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day, Clifton Collins Jr., Max Martini, Robert Maillet, Rinko Kikuchi. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Just saying, I don't think this is viral marketing... and if it is well its a rather prolonged one that has only recently caught notice. After searching the net all last night on this subject, I found that these "strange noises" started to be heard a few months ago. I'm not sure which video this is (it wouldn't load for me), but the one on Movie Viral's site does contain videos that are not from January even though it says it is (blame the guy who compiled all those videos for that one). So in my opinion, I'm not really sure if this is in fact viral marketing. But hey I could be wrong. But no matter the case, it's a really interesting series of events.

I love how if you search "strange noises" you'll find all sorts of posts on the so called noises that people have been hearing and articles on it on different sites suggestion ufos and even conspiracy theories related to HAARP. And then a bunch of fake videos based on this.

No offence there is no way that this is related to the Godzilla remake as for it hasn't even started production, and well to be a film journalist and to even consider that, you would have more success running into a parked car with such a statement.
More likely pacific-rim related, and also was the Red State paragraph needed?
