Oz: The Great and Powerful Poster with Mila Kunis as The Wicked Witch!
A new poster for director Sam Raimi's fantasy adventure Oz: The Great and Powerful has arrived, and it features the Wicked Witch of the West (we think). There is some confusion over the witches in this adaptation of the classic children's novel by L. Frank Baum. We know that Michelle Williams is playing Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. Then we have Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz playing Theodora and Evanora, respectively. But which witch is which? We're inclined to believe that Theodora is the Wicked Witch of the West as pictured in this one sheet, but with the make-up, it's hard to tell if that's Kunis or Weisz, as this transformation comes within the movie itself. Maybe the mystery will be revealed with the next trailer? Or perhaps we'll just have to wait and watch the movie to know who is who. Anyway, enjoy this first real look at the witch's gnarly face. She's a beaut!

Oz: The Great and Powerful was released March 8th, 2013 and stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Bill Cobbs, Joey King, Tony Cox. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.

Several trailers and clips show Rachel Wiesz's character standing next to the Wicked Witch of the West. I think that pretty much confirms it's Mila Kunis as the Witch of the West.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Oh, okay. I was thinking that you thought that what i said before was funny, because it sounded like i called Rachel Weisz a witch.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx What is so funny about the way i said it? Is it because it looks like i basically called Rachel Weisz a witch?

@themoviefanatic -- It's not that; it's how it was said.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I knew you'd get a laugh out of that, but i have large image of the same poster shown above saved in my pictures file on my laptop, and when i look at her face it looks alot Rachel Weisz's face. I guess the witches face on the smaller version of the poster looks like Mila Kunis to some people.......

@themoviefanatic -- "Since most sources are saying its Rachel Weisz and since it looks like Rachel Weisz, i am pretty sure by now that it is in fact Rachel Weisz in the poster above."

@themoviefanatic I would like to say yes, but if you wiki Theodora it says she is the Wicked Witch of the West and Evanora is the Wicked Witch of the East. The poster looks like Weisz and most outlets are saying its her but funny if Wikipedia is saying Kunis is the WW of the W, why would there be any confusion at all? Perhaps Weisz becomes this character, we never actually saw the WW of the E in the original so maybe they look the same.

@superman81 So then i guess that confirmes that the witch in the poster above is in fact Rachel Weisz ?

@bane5000 I'm thinking that at some point in Oz: The Great and Powerful Evanora and Theodora, both look like green skinned witches, as the wicked witch of the west and the wicked witch of the east.

@bane5000 every news outlet i have seen on the internet says its Weisz in the poster. A few hint it may be Kunis but they are all adverstising Weisz.

Wow @movieweb, way to headline your article with confidence, a possible spoiler no less, and then in the actual article admit you don't actually know who the wicked witch is. Misleading much?

Bane5000
@themoviefanatic...Unless they are gonna completely re-do the story and make Weisz Evanora become the green Wicked Witch, Why would they have her look exactly like the old Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz if Kunis is playing that character in this film?
