Owen Wilson Joins the Cast of Blood Brothers

According to the fine folks over at Bloody Disgusting, Owen Wilson has signed on to star in the upcoming horror comedy Blood Brothers. Wilson will also be producing the film for Spyglass Entertainment.

The story revolves around two best friends, one a vampire and the other a mortal human. Wilson will be playing the straight man, so to speak, and he will have to deal with the blood thirst of his best buddy.

The film does not have a set start date at this time, but look for the film to be released in late 2009, possible around Halloween of next year.

    this is new to me, but i like the sound of it. owen is good at what he does, but im still not sure what to make of him in a vampire flick. even if its a comedy. im intrigued now more than anything
