Overture Films 2008 Fall/Holiday Sneak Preview

Overture Films has released their slate of 2008 fall/holiday movie releases including Henry Poole Is Here, Traitor, Righteous Kill, Nothing like the Holidays and Last Chance Harvey.

Henry Poole Is Here

Henry Poole Is Here - August 15th


A man (Luke Wilson) who discovers that he only has six weeks to live, leaves his job, fiancee and overbearing mother and tries to spend his remaining days in seclusion. But he goes through a miracle transformation, and his neighbors disrupt his plan.

Traitor

Traitor - August 27th


The story centers on a CIA operative working undercover with a terrorist group who becomes a terrorist suspect. Cheadle is the undercover agent, while Pearce is an FBI agent investigating terrorist activities.

Righteous Kill

Righteous Kill - September 12th


Righteous Kill features the second bigscreen pairing of De Niro and Pacino, who play two detectives searching for a serial killer.

Holidays

Nothing like the Holidays - November 14th


The story follows a family reunion during the holidays in the Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park. Molina is the father who owns a bodega, and Hernandez plays a friend of the family who works there. Diaz is a former lover of Rodriguez's character and friends with the clan's daughter (Ferlito). Ruehl is the matriarch.

Last Chance Harvey

Last Chance Harvey - January 23rd


The story revolves around a man down on his luck who finds an unlikely female companion while in London attending his daughter's wedding.


Henry Poole Is Here was released August 15th, 2008 and stars Luke Wilson, Radha Mitchell, Adriana Barraza, George Lopez, Cheryl Hines, Richard Benjamin, Morgan Lily, Rachel Seiferth. The film is directed by Mark Pellington.

Traitor was released August 27th, 2008 and stars Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Saïd Taghmaoui, Neal McDonough, Alyy Khan, Archie Panjabi, Raad Rawi, Hassam Ghancy. The film is directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.

Righteous Kill was released September 12th, 2008 and stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, 50 Cent, Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy, Trilby Glover. The film is directed by Jon Avnet.

    "Henry Poole Is Here" looks interesting...I saw a trailer for this in theater..this is on my "Must See" list!

    "Traitor"...Looks ok...more of a video rental.
