Sam Claflin signs on for Overdrive
We first reported on this project back in October, when Karl Urban and Ben Barnes signed on as two car thief brothers, who move to the south of France to find more challenging work. No details were given regarding Sam Claflin's character. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is playing the female lead.
Antonio Negret is directing from a screenplay by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, with Taken director Pierre Morel producing.
Shooting is scheduled to start this summer in Marseilles, France.
Overdrive was released in 2012 and stars Karl Urban, Ben Barnes, Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin. The film is directed by Antonio Negret.
