Outsourced Is Being Turned Into a TV Series by Ken Kwapis

License to Wed director Ken Kwapis is planning to turn the independent comedy Outsourced into a series for NBC. According to Variety, a script commitment has been made for the half-hour sitcom, which Kwapis will direct.

The show will follow the adventures of a customer service manager from Seattle. He is sent to India to train a ragtag group of call-center employees. George Wing and John Jeffcoat, the team behind the original theatrical screenplay, will be writing the pilot.

The show does not have a start date at this time.

Outsourced was released September 28th, 2007.
