Screenwriter Marti Noxon says yes to Ouija
We reported in August that Universal Pictures had dropped the project, but Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner revealed last month that the toy company is still actively developing Ouija. Hasbro made a similar move in September, hiring Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski to write Monopoly, another project which Universal dropped.
Brian Goldner said last month he expects to find a new studio home for Ouija fairly soon. The story centers on a family trying deal with a chaotic supernatural event which is unleashed through the board game.
Ouija comes to theaters in 2013.

Thanks for the update, FYI there's an indie Ouija movie called I Am ZoZo already making the rounds and it looks scary as hell, not a "family adventure". It was shot all on Super8mm too, crazy.
