Rosamund Pike will star in One Shot with Tom Cruise
The story centers on Tom Cruise's character Jack Reacher, a former military police officer who now just drifts across the country as a P.I.. He comes to investigates a lone sniper who has murdered five victims, and realizes there is much more to the case. Rosamund Pike will play Helen Rodin, an attorney defending the sniper who works with Reacher.
Christopher McQuarrie will direct One Shot from his own screenplay. One Shot is the ninth book in the Jack Reacher novel series by Lee Childs.
It isn't clear when production will begin on One Shot.
Jack Reacher was released December 21st, 2012 and stars Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Werner Herzog, Jai Courtney, Vladimir Sizov, Joseph Sikora. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie.

I will probably not see this movie. Love the Jack Reacher character but do not want to picture him as Tom Crusie..... Reacher is more a Gerard Butler, John Cena or Channing Tatum kind of man. Ugh! :(

this movie is gonna suck jack reacher was no PI he just wondered across the country in the books and in the books he was 6'5'' and 260 pounds of pure muscle so not tom cruise very dissapointing cuz it was a good book
