Bratt Pitt wants to return for a Basterds prequel
"I've actually known Quentin for about 10 years now," Doom said on the red carpet. "Getting the script for this movie, reading that, the hairs sticking up on the back of my neck, this is the project that every actor wants to do. They want to work on a project like this, that they believe in so much, with a director that is an artist that you can just throw yourself to and you know you're in good hands."
Since Doom has appeared in Tarantino's last three films, I had to ask if Doom was gearing up for what could be Tarantino's next film - a prequel to Inglourious Basterds.
"Well hey, we're all hoping for a prequel," Doom said. "Let's just get all the Basterds together. Let's do this. Brad (Pitt) wants to do it, Quentin wants to do it. Let's do it."
When I asked about any story ideas about that possible prequel, though, Doom couldn't say anything about it.
"That I don't think I can talk about... without killing you," Doom said, jokingly.
When I asked Doom if he'd appear in other potential projects like Kill Bill 3, Doom made it pretty clear he'd do whatever it takes to work with Tarantino.
"He knows that I'll work with him in a second, on any movie that he does," Doom said.
Be sure to check out Omar Doom and the rest of this incredible cast in Inglourious Basterds, which is now available on DVD, two-disc special edition DVD and Blu-ray on home video shelves everywhere.

Years ago I watched Shakespear in Love when it first came out. Back then I hated the film, but my friend loved the film so much we watched it for an entire month. On second viewing I liked it a little more, it grew on me over the month.
Some films are worth to see again and again while others have to grow on you.
Newkill and several others only watch a film once and judge it right away, which I find is a no no.
I noticed the trailer for this one and was pleased to see Pitt in it. When I first watched this film I noticed an old school buddy of mine had a small part in it, he was one of the Nazi's.
I used that word on a person I never cared for which is really an arch enemy of mine. No I'm not a superhero,, he followed me around pretending that I was his friend and I usally ignored him. This is back in High School, I had two groups of friends the High Class and the Low class. Anyway, he was pushing my buttons and it went too far. I snapped and yelled "You F----- R---- just leave me alone". He cried his eyes out but I didn't care back then, since I was one of the cool kids.
A teacher was nearby and told me to appoligise, I informed her that he had been following me and causing me grief. He got in trouble for stalking me.
I see I've takin up too much space, I'll try to watch it again. I'm really a nice guy but I've grown up since then.

You've stated your opinion, added some justification, and therefore, I should respect it. In many ways Tarantino is an acquired taste, like olives or my aunt's meatloaf (FYI, there is no correlation between the director and the soggy, sometimes steaming pile of meat!). I will purchase the movie and most likely watch every minute numerous times, as I have done, with his past films.
I think he's a good director, and an even better writer. The dialogue and silly situations cracks me up. I'm a sucker for campy violence, strung-out dialogue, and killin' Nazis. Who, at least unconsciously, isn't?
As for the "retarded" comment, I apologize for the epithet against the mentally ill (better?). I do not mean to demean an entire sect of people with that ill-bred word.
I love Forest and Gilbert!
Sadly, political correctness has never been my strong suit (it comes with the description of complete A-hole). I try to say it how it is, and let's face it, a lot of "disturbed" frequent this site. Not counting you in that number, just interpreting the obvious...
Maybe, though, you should give the film a second viewing.

If Tarantino does another installment for Kill Bill, then he'll need to retire because he has nothing else to do.

People that don't know how to spell right shouldn't even comment. It seems to me that many people around the world don't know either. Intelligent people like me do make small mistakes every so often.
I've seen much better films than this.
Tarantino is a bad director and I don't get why so many Americans like his films, most Canadians like myself just don't like him and his style. I watched this film for only one reason and that is to see Brad Pitt which is a decent actor, he lowering his standers to be in this film.
At least Zanytap knows how to spell.
The reason I comment is because I wanted too. Last I heard this is a free country, freedom of speach is known to us.
I'll retract sucks, it just blows.

I don't take drugs and I'm not retarded, word of caution never use that single word around them they might cry or attack you. I should know I used it once. I rather keep my brain cells intact, and it's my opinon. It's one of the many things why people attack someone who states whats on their mind.
So what I don't Like it, not everyone in the world will like the same film as you do.
I did watch it and I hated every moment of it but there's only one thing I liked about it, at least Pitt was in it. Normally I advoid Tarantino's films, I don't like him and his taste in films, the only film I did like is From Dusk Til Dawn now that's a film. Didn't like Pulp Fiction and several other films that he has directed, you want to call someone a retard he's the one you should call him that.

Todd I'm assuming either A) you're high on acid, or at least the last Alice in Wonderland trailer B) you're cinematically retarded (it's a legit disease, ask half the people on this site) or C) the most plausible, you're a combination of A and B with a dash of ignorance. ;P
I am excited. Definitely the 'best' film of the year. With the box office and critical success and the potential Oscar nod, a prequel is really only a matter of time.

Hell yeah to an Inglourious Basterds prequel!! IG is Tarantino's best movie since Pulp Fiction, delivering on the on all of the "genius" superlatives thrown around...
I'm still hoping that Tarantino will commit to a Pulp Fiction prequel that he was talking about at one time called, "The Vega Brothers."
