Olivia Wilde may be circling a biopic of porn star Linda Lovelace
The actress has not officially signed on yet, although it seems she is definitely interested in the biopic. Here's what she had to say below.
"It would be a tremendous honor. It's such a cool role. She was a fascinating woman -with where she came from to Deep Throat to then working with Gloria Steinem and Nora Ephron. It's really fascinating. I'm being very careful about my next project since I'm now in a position where I can be really picky-thank God, finally."
Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are directing from a screenplay by Merritt Johnson, which is based on Eric Danville's book, The Complete Linda Lovelace. We reported back in January that James Franco is circling the role of Chuck Traynor, Linda Lovelace's husband, with Kate Hudson eyeing the title role. It isn't known if James Franco or Kate Hudson are still involved.
Lovelace is not to be confused with Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, another biopic which Malin Akerman is attached to star in. It isn't clear when production will start on either project quite yet.
Lovelace comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Sarah Jessica Parker. The film is directed by Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman.

If she not going to do the nude scenes then she shouldn't do it, a movie like this requires uncomfortable acts in front of the camera, if they decides to cop out then it should be one those cable network movies like the jesse james story which I didn't see.

I just googled this chick..Linda Lovelace, and omg she looks nothing like Olivia, i would have picked Liv Tyler, to play the role, lol, and at least shes not new to the whole nude thing. Olivia Wilde, looks like alil girl compared to linda, lol. So im guessing they wanna re-boot her life story with a whole diff stlye and looks", i sure as hell hope this takes places in the 50s or watever year it happened and not make sumthing in today's world, a movie like this really catches on when made in the past. on screen,

You know alot of people here seem to think that these kinda movies fuks up an actor/actress's career, but it really dosent, there r lots of movies that were like these back in the days, In which those actors today r still making good movies or well known for those roles now than they were be4 even if they dont make movies anymore, u at least know who they r, and stuff, i mean look at these guys, ....., Mark Wahlberg-boogey nights, the girl next door, with Elisha Cuthbert, show girls-Elizabeth Berkley, how to make a porn-Seth Rogen, just to name a few, Even Jeff Bridges has a movie like this, called The Amateurs. So again, it doesnt matter wat kinda movie you make as long as u dont lose control of ur self, become a druggy, drunk, or freak of nature, like most have fallen, cough cough.. lohan, britney, lol.
I mean i really think this girl has a shot at making it even bigger if givin the right scipt/role
At the same time, this movie will not get any pts w/out having a leading actress. It will end up getting a direct to dvd if they got sum1 unknown, So wether she takes the role or not, it does not mean her lifes over, it means, get ready for an oscar. and get ready to prove sumthing. IF U GOT WAT IT TAKES..

And I guess that just getting people to watch the doc*mentary on the actual woman/film/incident is out of the question. We need pretentious young actors blowing it's "honor" out of proportions.

Sadly i never heard of this porn star, not being born yet. However i have no prob w tron girl taking her clothes off, if shes willing, but i bet a million bucks this will b sum stupid ass pg13 porn movie, w other girls (if any) who will show boobs, and ass while Olivia will remain in sexy outfits, im sure!.
