Oliver Stone Is Moving Ahead with Bush Biopic
While George W. Bush might be a controversial figure, QED president Bill Block said that doesn't mean the film won't find a reception with audiences. The screenplay for Oliver Stone's anticipated biopic was written by Stanley Weiser.
Production for Bush is scheduled to begin in April.
W. was released October 17th, 2008 and stars Josh Brolin, Colin Hanks, Toby Jones, Dennis Boutsikaris, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, Scott Glenn, Richard Dreyfuss. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.

They should get Frank Caliendo to be Bush. That guy's a master at impressions, including Bush. F*cking hilarious.

Maybe in about 10 years this movie will be a good idea. And for some reason i just don't see Oliver Stone making a "fair" bipic about good ol' George Dub'ya.

hmm they should cast a lil chimp in a $2000 3 piece suit to play Bush, that would be funny. the real question is why this film needs to be made, why?

if in fact it is a bush "bash fest" then I will see it, but stone is saying that it won't be..

Great another propaganda rant from Stone -- just what we need. No matter how you feel about Bush (pro or con) there is no way this won't be anything but a bash fest (yawn). Come on Stone what else ya got, we know you have talent but you've just been a "one-noter" for the past, what, 20 years?
