i have never in my life be so disgusted by a film. the books were brilliant beyond belief and the film destroyed it. i very nearly left. they tore apart every aspect of it. if susan cooper had creative control then how dare her and she has sold out. if not than how dare everyone associated with it who ever read any of the books. who would read a book, like it enough to invest that much money in making it into a film, and then change everything?! i am just appalled.

im appalled already. i hate to be the one to break it to you guys, the the pendragon legend is welsh, not american. does this mean we can expect the final book in the sequence to be set in, say baltimore instead of snowdonia where it belongs? i have to say there were good reasons why this book was set in the Thames valley, but all that seems to have been ignored. i loved the books, but recognised very little of the story i know in that trailer.

Oh how many has this trailer brought to tears! Walden/Fox, just to think of what a great movie you could have made with Cooper's novel, and to see how easily you stooped instead to cheap marketing gimmicks in its actual production! Hodge, next time please stick to your own properties or brush up on your understanding of the word "adaptation."
