Of Men and Mavericks Poster

20th Century Fox has unveiled the first poster for Of Men and Mavericks, director Curtis Hanson's biopic on surfing legend Jay Moriarty. Gerard Butler stars as Frosty Hesson, who teaches Moriarty (Jonny Weston) how to conquer the treacherous Northern California current dubbed The Mavericks. Check out this 1-sheet featuring these massive waves.

Chasing Mavericks was released October 26th, 2012 and stars Gerard Butler, Jonny Weston, Elisabeth Shue, Abigail Spencer, Leven Rambin, Greg Long, Peter Mel, Zach Wormhoudt. The film is directed by Michael Apted, Curtis Hanson.

    It says Gerard is playing Jay. Jay is being played by Jonny Weston. Frosty is being played by Gerard Bulter. Also it is spelled MORIARITY. This should be a great story.

    The information is incorrect. Jonny Weston stars as the surfer Jay Moriarty. Gerard Bulter plays his mentor, Frosty.
