Actors Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman have signed on to star in Noah for Paramount and director Darren Aronofsky.

Both actors will play the sons of Russell Crowe's title character, with Douglas Booth portraying the younger Shem, and Logan Lerman starring as his older brother, Ham. We reported back in April that Jennifer Connelly is in talks to play Noah's wife, although it seems discussions haven't taken place yet. The actress is still a top contender for the role, but there are still other candidates in the mix. Still to be cast are Noah's nemesis and a love interest for Ham.

Darren Aronofsky is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ari Handel. Paramount is co-financing the project with New Regency. No production schedule has been released.

Noah comes to theaters March 28th, 2014 and stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand. The film is directed by Darren Aronofsky.

I don't expect them to have substantial roles, so I'm okay with this for now.
