No Place on Earth Trailer

Magnolia Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for No Place on Earth, director Janet Tobias' compelling documentary that sheds light on an amazing group of Jewish survivors during World War II. Over the course of 18 months, 38 Ukranian Jews took shelter in caves, in hopes of outlasting the brutal war. Take a look at the first footage from this new film, which includes interviews with actual inhabitants who survived this ordeal.

No Place on Earth brings to light the untold story of thirty-eight Ukrainian Jews who survived World War II by living in caves for eighteen months, the longest-recorded sustained underground survival. Built upon interviews with former cave inhabitants, as well as Chris Nicola, the caving enthusiast who unearthed the story, No Place on Earth is an extraordinary testament to ingenuity, willpower and endurance against all odds.

No Place on Earth was released April 5th, 2013 and stars Chris Nicola, Saul Stermer, Sam Stermer, Sonia Dodyk, Sima Dodyk, Katalin Lábán, Péter Balázs Kiss, Dániel Hegedüs. The film is directed by Janet Tobias.
