Still no Cyclops in X-Men: First Class
Millar, whose Kick-Ass comic book adaptation was directed by Vaughn, had this to say via his Twitter account:
"Text from Vaughn about X-Men set visit. Family excited not because it's X-Men but coz wee guy from Hannah Montana is Cyclops! Dare I say?"
As it has been stated in the past by Bryan Singer, neither Scott Summers/Cyclops nor Jean Grey will be appearing in X-Men: First Class. And Mark Millar doesn't quite know what he is talking about. The Hannah Montana kid in question is Lucas Till, and he will actually be playing Scott's brother Alex Summers, aka Havok. As the rumor started to spread, someone on Twitter called Millar on his facts. Here is what Millar said, which should prove that Cyclops is not in X-Men: First Class:
"Is (Lucas Till) Havok? I've no idea. We just heard he's in it and the only thing more exciting to them would be Taylor Lautner in it."
So, there you go. No Cyclops in X-Men: First Class.
X-Men: First Class was released June 3rd, 2011 and stars James McAvoy, Laurence Belcher, Michael Fassbender, Bill Milner, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Beth Goddard. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Although Cyclops didnt appear as a main character... Watch the scene when Prof X puts on Cerebro for the first time. You catch a brief glimps of Storm and Cyclops!!!
Very brief.. but true.
Also... This film is so wrong. Beast, Cyslops, Jean and Iceman were the first X-Men. Where do Havoc or Darwin fit in!! Well disappointing!!!

they shoul;d at least have nathan jones as the juggernaut he's big enough they dont have to add prostetics to make him look big like the actor who played him in the last xmen movie....but the way this movie is looking i have lost faith in the directors who say "yea iam a fan used to read the comic as a kid...." they are probably paid to say that by suits....

Maybe they should call it the Uncanny X men or even the Astonishing x men. But first calss is blasphemy. ok THAT was my last complaint. seriously. i mean it this time. I am still going to see this of course. X men are my fav so i have no choice!

which makes this even less of a first class movie because and most of you know...Cyclops is the leader of the original team (aside from Prof X). Whatever, by now you all know how i feel about this title. Am i happy to see a new x men movie? yes. but if your gonna put first class in the title then it damn well better be first class. But this is the last time i am going to complain about this. I swear.

True, the title is just mis-leading and goes to show they are not follwoing any source material of the First Class Series by excluding its core members, they couldve just simply called it " X-Men: Origins "...but that tag line is being used by the Wolverine movies and watever other characters they want to ruin with solo films...

They should really change the title. First Class of X-Men is: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel, Iceman. If it's not the First Class, don't call it that!

We already knew this guys. It was released a while ago, that the reason Aaron Johnson didn't get the role is because he was busy, and later we found it was because Cyclops wasn't in the film. (Even thou his younger brother Havok is.)
Again, they should really change the title.
