Ninja Turtles may begin production in Vancouver later this year
It is rumored that shooting will start in either late summer or early fall, although that timeline has not been confirmed. The project was at the center of a fanboy firestorm back in March, when it was revealed that the characters will hail from an alien race, unlike the mutated teenagers from the original comic books.
Jonathan Liebesman is directing from a screenplay byJosh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol). Michael Bay is producing through his Platinum Dunes production company.
The turtles will be portrayed using motion-capture techniques similar to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which was also shot in Vancouver.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes to theaters June 6th, 2014 and stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

It should be Shredder first, then Krang. Do it in a way that at the end of the first movie, it sets up the idea that Shredder was working for Krang the entire time, leading to a sequel.

@jayaottley@bawnian-dexeus might not be bad having Krang as the baddie in this and set up the sequel to showcase the Shredder ala Batman Begins hinting at the Joker for its sequel

Until I hear confirmation that the antagonist is The Shredder, because the route that this film is travelling in, it seems that Kang will be the baddie... So until I hear news on Shredder, then I'm with @ROFLitschristian

Though its motion capture with CGI its cool that it will still be somewhat live action. So who should play the Turtles? I think Mark Wahlberg would be great as Raphielle, Elijah Wood as Leonardo, Jonah Hill as Michael Angelo, Jesse Eisenberg as Donatello, and maybe Mickey Rourke as Shredder. Whats y'all suggestions for casting the Turtles?
