According to Variety, the script would feature Richie as a professional woman with complicated family relationships and struggling to figure out what role she'll take as her life and her family evolve.
Daisy Gardner (Californication) is set to write the comedy.
Richie had the initial idea for the show. She'll get a producing credit in addition to starring. Michael Baum of Impression Entertainment is also a producer.

i went from uninterested (b/c of Richie) to excited (b/c very few sitcoms are being developed) to intrigued (b/c of Gardner as the writer) to feeling ripped off (b/c richie is the creative "mind" behind it and a producer and star of the sitcom). Fail.
