The hit Colombian horror film Al final del espectro is currently being prepped for a Stateside remake. According to Variety, Nicole Kidman will star in and produce the scary flick for Universal Pictures.

The original revolved around a tragedy-stricken woman who is encouraged to move into a fancy apartment building by her overprotective father. There, she encounters a ghost and decides to become a shut-in.

Juan Felipe Orozco, director of the original film, has come onboard to direct this remake. The Number 23's Fernley Phillips is currently working on a fresh draft of the screenplay.

There is no word on when the film will actually go into production.
