Nickelodeon Orders Kung Fu Panda: The Series

Nickelodeon has signed on for Kung Fu Panda: The Series, ordering a new CG-animated comedy based on last year's boxoffice hit, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The kids network has ordered 26 episodes of the series, Nick's second co-production with DreamWorks Animation SKG. The two companies previously partnered on The Penguins of Madagascar, which premiered March 28 on Nick and ranked as the most-watched series premiere in the network's history (6.1 million viewers). Since then, Penguins has become the second most-popular program among kids 6-11 on television, behind only SpongeBob SquarePants.

Wooooooow. The movie was decent, but they just stripped that away from another children's blockbuster.

they should put it on nbc on staurday morning, and find some more cartoons like this to replace that god-awful qubo lie-up they have.
childrens imaginations are not being stimulated by that qubo crap.
theres a reason adult swim has so many awesome cartoons it because kids from my generation had great saturday morning cartoons and grew up to make even better cartoons.
