According to Variety, Icon Entertainment Intl. has picked up worldwide rights to It's a Boy Girl Thing, an American high school comedy to be produced by Elton John and David Furnish's Rocket Pictures.

The pic, currently in pre-production, will be directed by Nick Hurran (Girls' Night) from an original screenplay by Geoff Deane (The Kinky Boot Factory).

Poor but popular jock Woody and prim over-privileged academic Nell are next-door neighbors and arch enemies. But when a magical twist of fate causes them to swap bodies, they start to see each other in a different light.
