Opening in theaters February 13, New York, I Love You takes 12 filmmakers to each direct a short film (5 minutes) illustrating the universal theme of encountering love within the five boroughs of New York City. Internationally acclaimed directors such as the Coen brothers, Alexander Payne, Gus Van Sant, Alfonso Cuaron, Wes Craven, Walter Salles, Tom Tykwer, and artists among which Elijah Wood, Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe, Natalie Portman, Nick Nolte, Gena Rowlands, Gérard Depardieu all participated in this inspiring project.
New York, I Love You was released October 16th, 2009 and stars Bradley Cooper, Natalie Portman, Shia LaBeouf, Ethan Hawke, Robin Wright, Blake Lively, Orlando Bloom, Anton Yelchin. The film is directed by Fatih Akin, Yvan Attal, Allen Hughes, Shunji Iwai, Wen Jiang, Joshua Marston, Mira Nair, Brett Ratner.
