Spawn was great for it's time but the effects are soooooo dated and it's such an effects driven film. When i first watched it i was like 10 and thought it was badass i rewatched it at 16 and was like...WTF is this lol.

SPAWN!i love that, although the movie was crap, they should reboot it just like they did with Hulk.

Lol, not so hype about a Spawn remake, maybe a reboot like what they did with The Punisher. The only thing i liked about Spawn was the midget clown played by Luigi, lol, i call him luigi from super mario, because i don't know his real name.

Well he did come up with the only retarded plot hole in Batman Begins when he forgot that human beings are about 75% water and that the Scarecrow gas released at the end would pretty much instantly kill everyone lol. Goyer's got some cool stuff though Death warrent is pretty badass and i do enjoy the first two Blade films. Off topic and kinda random but i'm hoping for a Spawn remake some day. With the whole superhero genre exploding in popularity you'd think they'd have green lit that idea by now.

Yeah, your right. Partial blame does go to David. Wesley Snipes did make some type of law suit against either him or the studio for giving Biel and Reynolds more camera time than he did. But i wouldn't go so far to call the guy terrible. I mean he did assist with The Dark Knight writing, Batman Begins. He did do a good job with the first two blades. And i just loved Death Warrant.

Yeah i don't know Mr.Cage is slowly warming up to me i think he plays the same person all the time though. I don't think Reynolds ruined Blade: Trinity i think David S Goyer's lame script and corny tone ruined that film especially with killing Whistler in a very plain and random way. Honestly Goyer is in my opinion a terrible writer it always seems like whenever he writes a movie it starts off like you're right in the middle of the film take his most recent work The Unborn for example.

You know what J.A. Your absolutely right. Reynolds is superhero material. Thumbs up. You got me. He could put on any superhero suit and instantly become him. Because he has such great superhero characteristics. lol, mind you superhero. Deadpool is a merc/antihero. Reynolds is to noble to play a role like that. If you want to find an actor with antihero characteristics, look for someone who could take on the role of snake plisken a true antihero.

Your wrong kyle. Even though i don't care too much for him. I think he was great on Smokin Aces. I just think he will suck taking on this role. But how can you dislike Nic Cage: the Castor Troy, the Cameron Poe. How could you, lol? john cusack bugs me as well. I've never seen Wicker Man. I hated 1408 though. All i'm saying is that i, truly, hope Reynolds does not ruin this movie, like he did Blade trinity, now, come on. You have to be with me on that one.

Killerman i think you're biased because for whatever reason ryan Reynolds just bugs you. We all have those actors who just get under our skin sometimes for reasons we can't even explain. I personally cannot stand Nicholas Cage, and John Cusak really bugs me aswell. But sometimes even though we hate to admit it the actor can be right for the role i actually dug Cage in remake of The Wicker Man (im probably the only one who liked it lol) and Cusdak did a good job with 1408. Reynolds despite your personal distaste for him does have the majority vote for the role of Deadpool and many comic book fans including myself are pleased with the choice.

Soooooo....wait let me get this straight...because i made a very valid point, that means i have a crush on that person?
Do you even actually realise how dumb you sound pointing that out.

That like me stating to you that you have a crush on Tobin Bell who plays Jigsaw from the Saw movies because you think the films should get oscars.

Ok why dont you think Ryan Reynolds is superhero material?
    &
Since you've read the Deadpool Comics as you've stated below, whom would you cast as the role of Deadpool?

    Vis...
CBJunior has already stated that he hasn't read the comics and doesn't even know the character, so this is going to take him by surprise, he ain't familiar with the character attributes and similarities between Deadpool & Reynolds.
So in the term Junior is basing a quite biased opinion upon Reynold's previous acting career.
But i gotta admit, you gotta give him credit, because Reynolds is the last person your'd expect as a superhero, except for maybe Deadpool & Flash, (which are the only 2 superhero roles he has actually only ever been considered for).
But CBJunior pick-up or download a Deadpool comic, just read 2 or 3 issues and your start to notice the similarities.

Any fan of deadpool will know that Ryan Reynolds is technically the best casting decision in Hollywood currently for this role.
If it didn't go to Reynolds, then i would have like to see Hugo Weaving in the role, but i don't know if he can be c*cky, sarcastic and a pain in the ass enough to be Deadpool.

You see the difference is between CBJUnior's opinion and Killerman's is this.

Killerman is a fan of Deadpool (well he has read the comics), while CBJunior hasn't.
Either way though Killerman will disagree with everyone else just to start an argument because he enjoys being the center of attention, it gives him a reason for his existence.

Based on the diversity between answer's I'll just have to see in May if he fits the description.

Hannibal King was very sarcastic and a smart ass in the comics of Blade and Nightstalkers.
He was just playing the character, the way it was originally created but they kind of took the vampire element and the seriousness of his character that was created due to that vampire element out of his character

dont get me wrong, i like reynolds, hes funny.i just dont kno the comic books or anything like that so i dont kno the character.maybe ill be suprised, which i think i will because people are sayin his character deadpool is supposed to be funny.

ryan reynolds is not the right choice for any superhero movie.hes funny and relateble and i like him but he shouldnt play this type of role.i just cant take him seriously. i mean even in one of his most serious roles(blade 3, which SUCKED) he didnt take the character seriously.at least the movie looks pretty desent

Ok plz people don't listen to the twat that states Ryan Reynolds is not perfect for Deadpool.
His just in the best one word to explain him...dumb, he walks America with his dunce hat.

One thing, everyone here should know, Ryan Reynolds was actually requested by many fans of Deadpool to play as the role of Deadpool in this movie and also a feature spin-off film of Deadpool, which has been in production hell for ages by David Goyer in a screenwriting stage.
Fans chose Reynolds as the only actor good enough to play the role, due to the simple similarities that he has to Deadpool's character through his previous role, which have been stated by Kyle_Hannah.

Any fan of Deadpool would know that the first actor that comes to mind when considering a Deadpool film or role, automatically Ryan Reynolds come to mind.
The fans chose him for the role, not the casting director...I think that says enough on this matter.

Also i've seen a sneak peek of this movie and quite frankly all the actors performances are amazing.
    Especially Schriber, Kitsch and Reynolds.
