The action-packed Terminator Salvation game will be released in conjunction with the highly anticipated film, opening nationwide on May 21, 2009.
Based on the movie, the game offers players the chance to assume the role of John Connor, a soldier in the resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet. The game features concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film while encountering new enemies specifically designed for the game.
Also just released it the trailer for the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra.
Here are some features of the game:

To be clear CaptainRumi and nathan, I knew that wasn't Christian Bale. If you read it more carefully instead of just looking for an excuse to "bash me" like a 5 year old because you're mad I called you out on Cobra Commander(nathan), you'd realize that I was making a joke between the voices of the two trailers, and that they could have done a better job of at least TRYING to make the guy sound like Batman-er, excuse me, Christian Bale. Goldeneye was the only game ever successful from a movie unfortunately killerman :/ It kinda doesn't make sense since you'd think they could make a rad game. When I saw this article and thought about a G.I. Joe videogame was actually excited until I saw this PS2 graphics trailer haha. I thought the game would be more Splinter Cell with Snake Eyes than an arcade running through the level shooter like Metal Slug in 3D lol. The terminator cut scene is pretty bad ass, almost looks real in some parts. Pretty impressive. I think a lot of the games that get licensed from movies don't really get a financial backing. I mean, you can just tell from the graphics on most of them. They probably had a sh*tty budget on this G.I. Joe game knowing it'd sell a quick buck with the name when the movie releases, kinda like The Hulk and Iron Man. They even try to do Harry Potter video games (which I don't even know how that would work lol... RPG style gameplay maybe?) Anywho, they always look like sh*t. This Terminator game looks promising however. Could be a start of some decent movie to game adaptations. Btw the voice actor almost sounds like Christian Bale at the start, but as he speaks he sounds less and less like him. I'm pretty sure the character in the game isn't him, at least, has no resemblance to Christian Bale anyway.

I don't know what's worst: a movie adapted from a video game, or a game adapted from movie. But i think it's more clear why movies adapted from video games don't work. They suck because they're just simply do something wrong that can easily be done. Now, video games adapted from movies are strange. Maybe they suck because they come to close to the movie's release date. Really i can't think of any real good games that's based on movies. I played Quantom of Solace and it sucked ass.
