Watchmen is based on the 12-part DC Comics series written by Alan Moore and featuring art by Dave Gibbons.

Watchmen was released March 6th, 2009 and stars Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Carla Gugino, Matt Frewer. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

saw the movie 3 hours ago. the action scene is so brutal. 3 thumbs up.
you will appreciate it more if you read the graphic novel and watch the motion comics coz you can compare it.
the cinematography is breathtaking.

I saw it in IMAX last night at midnight in Manchester, CT.......it took alot for me not to hang myself with my own underwear afterward........if youve read the book BEWARE! and if you havent read the book......same goes for you.
