I hope the rating for T4 doesn't affect the film too much.

I agree that this movie, being a war story, should have been rated R. However, PG13 can be pretty rough these days and I think they'll still push the envelope with the violence, etc. But I really hope they ignore T4 as much as possible. That movie does not belong in the storyline of "Terminator" and I don't recognize it.

Furthermore, the deleted scene from "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" where we see Sarah Connor sitting on a bench in Washington DC, John Connor playing with his daughter at a playground, and talking about how August 29, 1997 came and went with no Judgement Day...that for me is the end of the story. Whether or not you want to argue that that doesn't exist because it wasn't in the official cut, I still see that as the final beat.

"Terminator Salvation", still having to follow what we've seen already, should play out more the way we saw it in the open of the original "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day". That this is the future which led to the resistance smashing Skynet and sending Kyle Reese after the T800, then discovering the T1000s departure.

i want this move to be great. I trust McG. I was not happy to read what the original ending was suppose to be (when it was leaked about a month ago) and hope they've corrected that mistaken direction. I also hope this movie is good enough to prompt the proposed trilogy where it will actually end with Kyle Reese entering the time device.

    God Bless James Cameron.

Terminator Salvation is looking so badass, gritty, and well done and that's just what we need after T3. And I think we should start seeing some Revenge of the Fallen tv spots in about a week, or so.

PG-13 doesn't bother me really you don't need gore in a Terminator film i mean sure the others had gore but take it away and you still have very solid and entertaining action movies. As long as there is a strong and faithful story with well choreographed action then i won't be missing the blood and guts

PG-13, which sucks, McG wanted it R, Warner Bros. wanted it PG-13 because none of the other action movies coming out in early summer (Wolverine, Star Trek, and Transformers) were R

Ou,yeaaah! Terminator is a very delicate franshise and they must NOT f*ck it up. I so hope this is going to be great! They can't fart in fan's face like they did in Terminator 3. That's decent movie but it's not worthy of Terminator franchise. I don't understand why they didn't rate it R. I hope it won't be so important.
