New Transformers 3 On-Set Image Featuring a New Robot

An Ain't It Cool News reader sent the site a new image from the set of Transformers 3, which is currently filming in Chicago and set for release on July 1, 2011. Click on the image below, which features some kind of new robot in the film, to access our full gallery from the set of this new sequel.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

    I'm pretty sure that is not a transformer. This is probably from the set of Real Steel, and some idiot is messing with Ain't it Cool news. One thing about Bay, is he likes his creatures bad ass, and that ain't it, nor is it anywhere near technically accurate. So no its not Bay's doing.

    And once again, I love how the Bay haters come out of the wood work. You guys believe every piece of news flown at you? Pathetic.

    Bay has a way of surprising the public with the films he do; ranging from dead-on accurate character persona to a really off-the-road-into-the-ditch storyline. But yeah, I'm wondering how it could fit in the movie... So far it looks like RoboCop on steroids. Don't you people think?
