One Missed Call Trailer

Stephen King's The Mist will be released on November 21 and stars Thomas Jane, Andre Braugher, Laurie Holden, Amin Joseph, Frances Sternhagen, Alexa Davalos, Sam Witwer, Jeff DeMunn, Brian Libby, Marcia Gay Harden and Toby Jones.

Three-time Oscar-nominee Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the author's original short story. Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see!

One Missed Call will be released on January 4 and stars Ed Burns, Shannyn Sossamon, Ana Claudia Talancon, Ray Wise, Azura Skye, Johnny Lewis, Jason Beghe and Margaret Cho.

The film is an English language remake of the Japanese thriller about a group of young people who start receiving voice mails from the future which includes the date, time and details of their deaths.

What will it sound like when you die? In One Missed Call, a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. Though the messages can be deleted, their number is up. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is traumatized when she witnesses the gruesome deaths of two friends just days apart. Even more disturbing, she knows that both of them had received chilling cell phone messages-actual recordings of their own horrifying last moments. Impossibly, the calls were received days before they died, but each death occurred precisely when and how the messages foretold. The police think Beth is delusional-except for Detective Jack Andrews (Edward Burns) whose own sister was killed in a freak accident that bears a strange similarity to the deaths of Beth's friends. Together, Jack and Beth work feverishly to unravel the mystery behind the ominous calls. But even as they get closer to the truth, Beth's cell phone begins to ring with an eerie tune, and the readout says One Missed Call...

...We can't "WAIT" for "Stephen King's The Mist". I myself read the short-story about some 15 years ago, and next to "Childern of the Corn (which was made into a very bad film) was 1 of my favorite Stephen King short stories. "The Mist" is in the 1985 short-story collection "Skeleton Crew". After nearly 20 some years later I finally get to see it brought to the big screen. Very excited, a little nervous too at the same time. Marcia Gay Harden is 1 of my favorite actresses, and she chooses some strange roles. It will be interesting to see her in this film playing a religious zealot. & Three-time Oscar-nominee Frank Darabont did well W./ both: "The Green Mile" & "The Shawshank Redemption". I also did like his film, the very Under-rated "The Majestic" too. I'm crossing my finger that "The Mist" wont turn out to be more of a made for TV movie that was brought to the big screen.

The Mist looks kind of cool, and yea I agree it looks similar to The Fog. I hope this is not as bad.....One Missed Call looks like a bad take off on The Ring....2 days? 7 days? Doesnt look very original.

The Mist looks cool but One Missed Call looks like another The Ring type movie which sucked. I will see The Mist but not the other one. One Missed Call also reminds me of the horror movie about the video game that kills you if you die in the game. Also stupid.
