Fantastic Four Reborn and Die Hard 24/7?
It is also looking like Fantastic Four Reborn is going to be "a complete reboot of" the franchise.
There isn't much known yet about the plots of these films and it should also be noted that these titles have not yet been confirmed by 20th Century Fox who is responsible for both franchises.
It should come as no surprise that Fox wants to keep these properties going. The Die Hard franchise has pulled in over $1.1 billion dollars worldwide. Both films in the Fantastic Four canon have earned over $600 million worldwide.
A Good Day to Die Hard comes to theaters February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Cole Hauser, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke. The film is directed by John Moore.
Fantastic Four comes to theaters in 2013.

I just dont get it. FF is a legacy franchise w/ hundreds of viable stories. An original marvel comic. Sure, they f*cked up Doom pretty bad, but they got the actor right at least. FF would be better suited for a crossover, and not a total reboot. I just don't think it has gained the cinematic prestige to be given a reboot. More people will say wtf more than yay.
They prolly just couldnt get the whole cast back together. Seeing as how Chris Evans is now Cap America, and Jessica Alba is busy having my kids.

i didn't realize they were doing another die hard? i thought willis was done with them after the 4th one. didn't they have to bribe him into doing pt 4? i heard that they wouldn't make his movie 'tears of the sun' if he didn't make die hard 4. so what makes them think he will come back for part 5??
now dont get me wrong, i LOVE the DH movies. i thought pt 4 was the best one since the original and i'm all for another one. i just thought it was wierd to hear this since i thought willis was done. hopefully they can get len wiseman to direct pt 5 as well. i think his touch on pt 4 was a large part of why that film was so good.

I loled at mmm's comment.
Hopefully they learn from the mistakes of the other FF movies. Tim Story took the kid friendly aspect way too far. It should have an Incredibles vibe, and mix heavy sci-fi with themes of family. I also think the Thing should be CG like the Hulk. Just saying.

die hard movies are fun, the fantastic four movies were also fun not as much.
anyway i love bruce willis, they could make a movie called "die hard if i feel like it and if i don't feel like it then you can die hard while i drink coffee and eat donuts" and i would still watch it.

All I know is, that they better get John back to how he was in the first movie... he guy running the show. Not being lead around by some tech geek and trying to look cool, despite not knowing anything about computers. Bring on terrorists with guns and have John kill them in the foulest of ways, while spewing witty sarcastic lines.
And all I have to say about FF is, that they had better cast a hot, real Caucasian blonde with real blue eyes, who doesn't need contacts and doesn't look like a Latina posing. And make The Thing CGI like The Hulk from the Norton movie. And not so much humor. And they really need to kick ass this time around. Their powers should be more potent.

Totally down for another Die Hard movie, the last one was good I thought. They just need to think of a better title because "Die Hard 24/7" sounds extremely lame. I could honestly care less about FF anymore so they can do what they want to with it.
